This Week's Features:

The Best of Bay Weekly

One week of the year, we at Bay Weekly look back on where we’ve been. This is that week.

We’ve told some good stories this year, so if you’ve got a few minutes left over at year’s end, sit a spell and recall Chesapeake Country as you’ve toured it in the 2,466 pages of Bay Weekly during 2007.

Come February, judges from the West Virginia Press Association compare our stories with the best stories of all the other three dozen or so papers of our size in this big region.

Would you drop me a line and tell me which you like best?

My thanks and New Year’s best to you, dear reader,

Sandra Olivetti Martin,
Bay Weekly Editor: [email protected]

Early Tuesday morning, the moon rises before 2am and shines less than three degrees above Spica in Virgo.
