Money, Time and Talent: How We Make Our Communities Richer
Philanthropy is the act of donating money, goods, services, time or effort to support a socially beneficial cause. But many charities keep going because of everyman and everywoman’s philanthropic gifts, whether it is donating canned goods or walking shelter dogs. These are tough times, and charities feel the same pinch we do. Yet generosity abounds, at large and small ends of the scale.
