It’s time to ring in the New Year! Celebrate with friends and family at Annapolis, Baltimore or at home.

First Night
Join in the family-friendly party as Annapolis launches itself into 2003. Enjoy the dizzying array of entertainment including musicians, thespians, dancers, magicians and more. Join the Crabtown Countdown, watch the fireworks and take a turn in the Wish Chairs. This event is alcohol-free. Begins 3pm @ downtown Annapolis. Parking available at the Naval Academy Stadium on Rowe Blvd. ($5 w/free shuttle). $20/day of, $15 advance, $10 kids 6-12, kids under 6 free: 410/280-0700 •

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor
Greet the new year in downtown Baltimore with plenty of eats, a parade, dancing, live bands and much more, all leading up to a magnificant fireworks display at the harbor. For those kids who might have trouble staying awake until midnight, Port Discovery is having a noon-time New Year where you can make gaint numbers, noisemakers and hats for the noon-time countdown in the Atrium.
