Edible Art!

You don’t need to pack up and go to camp to have fun! Try this traditional camp activity at home. The Girl Scouts at Summer Day Camp had lots of fun with this delicious art project. When you’re finished, set it out to dry for a few minutes. Be sure to dry it inside, because ants love pudding as much as you do!

You will need:

  • paper
  • plastic baggie with a zip-shut top
  • measuring cup
  • water
  • scissors
  • plate
  • instant pudding (Don’t use vanilla; it won’t show up on the paper. Chocolate or pistachio work well, or you can try vanilla with a little food coloring)

Mix the pudding in the baggie according to the directions on the box. Seal the bag. Squeeze and knead the mixture until it sets. Cut a hole in the corner of the bag and squirt some onto the plate. Dip your fingers in, and start painting. Don’t forget to lick your fingers clean!
