Rosie the Riveter Day
The Glenn L. Martin Aviation Museum honors the working women of World War II, inviting Maryland Rosies to be recognized for their achievements during the war at the Museum’s annual Rosie the Riveter Day. Airplanes are opened so you can sit in pilots’ seats and get an up close look at the airplanes (weather permitting). The Baltimore Chapter of the American Rosie the Riveter Association is on hand, and its Rosies are looking forward to meeting Rosies from all over the state. 11am-2pm at the Museum, Middle River. Rosies free; $3 w/age discounts; rsvp: 410-682-6122; GLMMuseumPR@aol.com.
