Nature Happens Every Day at Quiet Waters Park
Explore your natural world through a Quiet Waters Park environmental exhibit, “Nature Happens Every Day at Quiet Waters Park.” The exhibit will showcase local habitat and wildlife displays that visitors can both see and touch, focusing on the Park’s streams, birds, trees, fish, and animals. Displays will be located in the Willow and Garden Galleries from April 4 through May 11, 2013.
The work of two local photographers will also be on display. Michael Land is known for his bold and beautiful wildlife and water shots that depict life on the Chesapeake Bay. Richard Arnold, captures wildlife and nature from his backyard, especially birds and butterflies.
An opening reception to meet the artists will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2-4 PM. Reception attendees will be admitted to the park free of charge.
The Visitors Center hours are 9 – 4 on weekdays and 10 – 4 on weekends (closed on Tuesdays). Quiet Waters Park charges a daily vehicle fee of $6.00
