Southern Alumni Scholarship Fund: $1,500 awards to four graduating seniors from Southern High School’s Class of 2019. Apply by March 15: [email protected]
Southern Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce Scholarship: $1,000 awards to two graduating seniors from schools including Northern High School, Southern High School, South River High School and private or charter schools in the southern Anne Arundel County area or current college student living in area with history of community involvement. 2.5 GPA, essay and letter of recommendation required; Apply by April 1: www.southcounty.org.
Anne Arundel Watermen’s Scholarship: $1,000 awards for two graduating seniors from Anne Arundel County schools pursuing a career in marine sciences or natural resources.  3.0 GPA, transcripts and essay required; Apply by April 1: www.aawatermen.org; 
Annapolis Rotary Club Scholarships: $1,000 awards for up to four graduating seniors in Annapolis area planning to attend a college or university and with a demonstrated commitment to community service. Apply by April 1: www.annapolisrotary.org/scholarships.
Bowie Theatrical Arts Scholarship: $1,000 award for one graduating Bowie High School senior entering college and enrolling in one class of theater arts or technical theater. Must demonstrate prior active involvement in theater arts; interview and short performance in front of panel required. Apply by April 1: www.bctheatre.com.
Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) Scholarship: $1,500 awards for four graduating seniors with parents or guardians who are SMECO members. 3.0 GPA, essay and interviews required.  Apply by April 12: www.smeco.coop/scholarships.
Friends of the Arts Scholarship: $2,500 awards for two Anne Arundel County college-level art students with minimum of 12 credits. Digital portfolio, artist’s statement and two letters of recommendation required. Apply by April 26; email [email protected] for application.
Annapolis Police Scholarship: $1,000  awards for two graduating seniors residing in the City of Annapolis. 2.7 GPA transcript and two letters of recommendation required. Apply by May 15: www.annapolis.gov/1174/
