Brad Paisley Fan Gets Special Surprise

Guitar hero lives up to his billing
Nine-year-old Jeffrey Allen of St. Mary’s County has had a passion for music since birth, says his mom Kimberly Allen. Specifically the music of country music star Brad Paisley.
“He went to his first concert at the age of three to see Brad Paisley perform in Baltimore,” Kimberly says. “He likes to make signs for concerts, where we may be closer to the stage.”
His sign for last week’s Paisley concert at the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons paid off.
His sign — You’re my guitar hero — caught the attention of his idol.
Paisley, who has a habit of presenting gifts to audience members, stopped to autograph and present Jeffrey with the guitar he was playing. Paisley asked if the boy knew how to play; Jeffrey happily replied that he had begun lessons.
Paisley told him to keep learning.
The young fan got to thank Paisley at the meet and greet after the show, too.
“My son was so emotional,” Kimberly says. “Receiving the guitar from Brad Paisley was a dream come true. This was his fourth time seeing him perform live, and I know he will treasure the memory.”
